Tom Torbeck

President and Principal

Tom has responsibility for the overall success of db solutions, LLC.  He began his real estate career in 1986 with the largest commercial brokerage firm in the United States as a leasing and sales broker in Cincinnati, Ohio specializing in industrial properties. Tom then began a 12 year career at a local construction and development firm starting in sales and working his way up to Vice President of National Accounts and Industrial Properties.

He oversaw a staff of architects, construction, and development personnel and was responsible for the national roll-out of design/build and development services. Tom also oversaw the development and marketing of 18 industrial and business parks in the Greater Cincinnati area where, combined with the national roll-out, he has developed and built over 6.2 million square feet of industrial, office, and retail facilities. Project experiences include clients such as Cintas Corporation, Airborne Express, Champion Window Company, Andrew Jergens Company, Multi-Color Corporation, and First Industrial Corporation.


Tom is a 1979 graduate of Miami University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Finance and earned his Master of Business Administration Degree at Xavier University in 1980. He received his CCIM designation in 1998. Tom has been involved in numerous charitable and community volunteer organizations to include Blue Ash/Montgomery Rotary Club, St. Aloysius Orphanage, and various Board assignments including Wellness Community and 4C.

Joel Tiberghien

Vice President and Principal


As Vice President and Principal, Joel has overall responsibility for the design/build operations managed by db solutions, LLC. Joel began his career in construction project management in 1983 as a co-op at the University of Cincinnati. Joel graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management in 1987. Joel then was employed by a local construction and development firm where he spent 18 years starting as a project manager working his way up to becoming the Director of Design Build Services.

Joel is particularly proficient at analyzing a project from its initial stage to properly plan and engineer value into every project. Joel was also instrumental in initiating a national rollout of design/build services having built facilities in over 20 cities across the United States. Joel also opened a satellite office in Northern Kentucky to further penetrate that local market. Joel has design and construction experience in office, industrial, and retail facilities.


Significant Project Experience:


  • 420,200 square foot Kellogg’s Distribution Center in Garland, Texas

  • 200,000 square foot Firstar (U.S. Bank) Call Center in Cincinnati, Ohio

  • 260,000 square foot Donaldson Road Center II in Erlanger, Kentucky



A 30-year veteran of the construction industry, Mark brings years of construction, budgeting and management skills to the db solutions team.


He earned both his degree in Construction Management and Certificate of Construction Supervision from the University of Cincinnati. In past jobs, he was very successful in managing both the construction projects and the subcontractor and

employee work forces. Acting as an OSHA Safety Officer, he also supervised the safety of each of those projects and workers.


Mark takes a leadership role in each job including planning, coordinating, scheduling, budgeting and managing labor. Mark is highly involved with our  customers on every one of his projects, from start to finish. Mark brings experience in a variety of markets from retail and medical facilities to commercial and financial institutions.
